Data we collect

Survey brief and request form: what you answer about the doors, plus your name, work email, company, the ZIP code and, if you choose to give it, a phone number.

For calls we note the number you used, the call's time and duration and, if a recording was made, that recording. We may record calls so we can note the door details correctly.

When you use the site, we keep our own server logs and page events (which pages you viewed, which links and buttons you used, and whether you started or sent the brief), along with a rough device type. We run no third-party analytics, no advertising pixels and no tracking cookies.

Who gets the data?

One access control installer that covers your area gets your brief and contact details so they can reach you about the project. Service providers also host the site for us and store the form submissions on our behalf. We do not sell personal information about you in exchange for money.

Consent for calls, texts and emails

Sending a brief means you accept the words printed next to the Send button: "By pressing Send, you agree that one access control installer who receives this brief from Access Control Installer may phone, text or email you about this project using the details you gave, and that calls or texts may use automated dialing. You can say no to this and still hire any installer or buy any product."

Keeping your data, and for how long

We keep briefs and call records for as long as we need to pass the project on and answer questions about it, then delete them. Server logs stay for a short period to help with security.

Rights you have

Residents of some states (for instance California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah or Texas) may ask us to tell them what personal information we keep about them, to correct or delete it, and to opt out of any sale or sharing of it. Send us an email with your request; using these rights will not change how we treat you. The Do Not Sell or Share page works for this too.

This site serves businesses and building managers; it is not intended for children under 16.
